Wednesday, June 26, 2019, the Environmental Engineering club of the National Advanced School of Public Works (NASPW) headed by KWALI Denise has organized a guided tour of the water treatment plant at “Camp SIC Cité verte” Hybrid system, filters and plants.

During this guided tour, the students observed the different stages of water treatment:

  • Step 1: Pre-treatment (screening, sandblasting);
  • Step 2: Primary treatment (sandblasting, anaerobic flocculation);
  • Step 3: Secondary treatment (reed bed planted with free aeration)
