BIM at the heart of exchanges

It was during a scientific seminar organized on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the amphitheater 100 of the NASPW in which teachers and students took part massively.

Seminar on the theme: "Building Information Modeling" also called BIM, it was led by Pr. Henry ABANDA of Oxford Brookes University in England. The participants were equipped on several points:

Benefits of BIM

- Minimizes errors in projects by allowing them to be better prepared;
- Automatically manages data;
-Promote the concept of design then construction;
-Reduce time wasted in the design and modeling of construction, development and urban and territorial planning projects;
-Rational mastery of quotes through the use of applications/software;
- Reduction of project costs;
- Control and methodical monitoring of projects in progress;
-Promote work-learning (remote work).
- Promotes e-construction
-Perfect mastery of new design and modeling techniques.

Remarks

- We need to invest more in BIM;
- BIM is the future;
- BIM intervenes in all areas.
