Wednesday March 11, 2020, the Topography club of the National Advanced School of Public Works of Yaounde has organized its General Assembly

as follows:

  1. Exhibition of equipment: level, total station, tachometer, GNSS / GPS receiver, drone etc.
  2. Conference "From Topographer to Geomatician: issues and challenges for the future engineer"
  3. Handover ceremony between the old and the new President

Objectives of the conference: Situate the topographer in evolution: Is it becoming obsolete? If so, how can it be remedied?

It appears that the topographer, in order not to become obsolete, must:

  • Have a complete training;
  • He must be able to handle programming to solve the various problems he encounters;
  • Process the data it obtains.
