It was held from May 24 to May 25, 2018 as from 9.30 am in the conference hall of the National Advanced School of Public Works, a seminar on the theme "sustainable building design and construction" Were invited:
- All the teachers;
- All the administrative staff;
- All Specialized Masters students;
- All Master’s in Engineering level 5 students, all options.
Its purpose was to prepare participants for the design and operation of zero energy buildings in a tropical climate using bioclimatic principles.
Under the entire supervision of Pr. NKENG George ELAMBO and Dr. MBA Alphonse, respectively Director and Deputy Director of the National Advanced School of Public Works, this seminar was animated by:
- The Pr. Henri ABANDA, Expert in BIM (Building Information Model) and Senior Lecturer in data processing Construction at the Oxford Institute for Sustainable Development in the United Kingdom;
- The Dr. Francesco NESI, Director of the “Zero Energy and Passivhauss” Institute for Research in Italy;
- The Dr. Blaise MEMPOUO, Expert in Energy Mastery in the Building Environment and Habitat Consultant at the United Nations (UN);
- The Dr. Claude Bernard TENE NENGOU, Dr. in Law and Political Science, and Researcher in the research group "Construction, Energy and Environment" of the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom.
