At the National Advanced School of Public Works a series of activities were organised to mark the 40th International Women's Day
Under the theme “For all women and girls: rights, equality and empowerment”, the women of the National Advanced School of Public Works (NASPW) celebrated with pump and pageantry this event through of activities such as a sports walk, a handball match, a conference on the theme ‘Gender-based violence’ and the traditional parade at the 20th May Boulevard.
During the conference, the women were given information on a number of topics, including
Factors and risks associated with gender-based violence:
- Physical
- Psychological
- Sexual
The causes of such violence:
- Financial
- Jealousy
- Anger
- Low level of education of one of the partners
- Personality disorder
- - Infidelity
Prevention methods
- Education
- Counselling for personality disorders
- Raising awareness
