« Be there for others, give your blood, share life », was the theme for the commemoration of the 15e edition of World Blood Donor Day, which is usually held each year in June 14.

For this year 2018, the commemoration of this day at the National Advanced School of Public Works was marked by two major activities that began on Monday, June 11, 2018, including:

  • A conference on "Blood transfusion";
  • Voluntary blood donations campaigns.

  1. The conference on blood transfusion

Organized by the Cameroonian Federation for the Voluntary Donation of Blood, this conference was held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at the amphitheater 100 of the National Advanced School of Public Works, as from 13 hours 30 minutes.

2.  Blood donation campaigns

From tuesday 12th to thursday, June 14, 2018, the medical team of the FECADOBES (first image below) collected voluntary blood donations from NASPW students. It was in the sports complex of the School, from 08 to 15 hours:

Many students have mobilized to make blood-saving donations:

A female student of the Master’s I in Engineering was interviewed to explain the reasons that motivated her to voluntarily give blood, and at the same time sensitize the whole of Cameroonians on the salutary nature of such an act.
