It was during a conference organized on June 21, 2022 at the amphitheater 100 of the NASPW in which they have taken part.
Conference led by the Engineer PREMUS Kika ADE on the theme "Structural Engineering Design, Construction and Installation", students of MEng 5 Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering (8th batch) were invited.
They were built on several points:
- Demystify the notion of offshore construction for the Cameroonian engineer;
- Study the SACS software;
- Offshore calculations and sizing are different from onshore calculations by their standards;
- The mastery of offshore constructions requires a lot of practice.
A conference which the Director of the NASPW Pr. NKENG George ELAMBO, the Deputy Director Dr. BWEMBA Charles, the Head of the Civil Engineering Department Pr. MBESSA Michel and the Head of the Environmental Engineering Department Pr. TALLA André also attended.
