On Friday April 30, 2021, the Environmental Engineering club has organized the second part of the training on the manufacture of compost within the NASPW Campus

This practical phase consisted in carrying out the composting by following the process mentioned by the trainers during the theoretical session.

First, dry and wet organic material provided by each participant (shredded into small pieces beforehand) was poured into Tray 1. In Bins 2 and 3, it was poured dry and wet organic waste. The trainers and learners finally wetted (to have a water content of 40%) the contents to promote the development of a colony of bacteria responsible for degrading these tanks.
