The Minister for Public Works informs the general public that the 2026/2027 Competitive Entrance Examination into the National Advanced School of Public Works (NASPW), Buea Annex, has been launched in the following areas:
a) Basic Technician
- Civil Engineering (100 places)
- Rural Engineering (60 places)
- Town Planning (45 places)
- Land Surveying (80 places)
Eligibility Requirements
For holders (or students awaiting results) of any one of the following certificates:
- BEPC
- CAP
- GCE Ordinary Level in four subjects excluding Religious Knowledge
- City and Guilds of London Part I
- Any equivalent certificate
Date of Examination: 1st August 2026 at 7:00 a.m.
b) Ordinary Technician
- Civil Engineering (100 places)
- Rural Engineering (70 places)
- Town Planning (55 places)
- Land Surveying (80 places)
Eligibility Requirements
For holders (or students awaiting results) of any one of the following certificates:
- Probatoire C, D, E, or F
- GCE Advanced Level in one science subject, which should be either Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry
- Any recognized equivalent qualification
