Tuesday, July 09, 2019, the Civil Engineering club of the National Advanced School of Public Works (NASPW), headed by KACDEU Baudoin, organized a conference on the theme "Artificial intelligence in the PWB " at the amphitheater 100 of the NASPW. The key guests William ELONG and Arielle KITIO, two rising heads of the start-ups in Cameroon, have shared their experience and the workings of start-ups.

The recommendations:

  • Think and create;
  • Artificial intelligence can save lives;
  • Go on the internet to get informed and take necessary data in order to have good results;
  • Get trained through internships in companies;
  • Be creative to attract investors;
  • Be resilient and persevering;
  • Algebra, statistics, analysis and computing are essential to achieve artificial intelligence;
  • Artificial intelligence is important in the field of PWB, especially in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Topography and Surveying, Town Planning, Geotechnics and Structure, Hydraulics, Architecture.
