From the 8th to the 12th of May 2018, it was held at the TSINGA Exhibition Center in Yaounde the AFRIBAT fair. It was called "African Fair of Building and Related Trades" to which was invited the delegation of the National Advanced School of Public Works and whose theme was: "Together, let's build the Africa of tomorrow". « Ensemble, construisons l’Afrique de demain ».

It is a specialized biennial trade fair and a platform for international meetings and for the dynamisation of exchanges and cooperation between professionals, experts and entrepreneurs from the Building and related trades sectors who have exhibited their innovative products and their services, exchanged their experiences and know-how, and concluded important partnerships and / or important commercial contracts.

In addition to the Cameroonian delegations including those of the NASPW, AFRIBAT Cameroon 2018 has received about fifteen foreign delegations from the Maghreb, sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, Asia and America, in a space of exposure of nearly 10,000 m².

 

This event was enhanced in honor with the visit of the Minister of Tourism and Recreation. While visiting the stand of the NASPW, the Minister has exchanged a few words with the head of the said stand at the AFRIBAT fair, namely Mr. LIMALEBA, lecturer at the NASPW as we can see on these pictures:

The gentleman on the far left is called Mr. MANA BELLE Alfred, Master’s degrees focal point at the NASPW; next to him, we can see Mr. Jean Claude MBWENTCHOU, Minister of Housing and Urban Development.

AFRIBAT Cameroon 2018 was in total:

  • More than 400 Cameroonian, Tunisian and foreign exhibitors targeted;
  • Round tables discussions on topical themes animated by a dozen speakers;
  • More than 200 B2B business meetings organized;
  • A Business and Innovations area where the latest technologies and new building materials were presented;
  • Nearly 1000 professional visitors and 10 000 general public visitors
